VBS INFO:
The ages of the kids are off all ranges.When the vbs is in a church, the ages range from babies to 12 years old. The size of the group of kids depends on how many people the Holy Spirit brings.
When done in a school the age ranges from 5- 10. Typically, each vbs will be done by grade. Each grade is typically 30 -40 kids but can be up to 80.

DETAILS:
1.5 hour program (Our team will be there to assist you. Our team here will do as much or as little of the program as you desire.
songs:
We can lead the songs or if you have some songs in Spanish that your group can lead that would be good as well. We will train you here in the different songs and hand motions- (super easy to learn)
game time:
Group games- your team can prepare games to use or we can handle this as well
Lesson:
(15 minutes) Translators provided, You are welcome to teach the lesson or we can do it. Open theme. Usually you will not see the same kids twice. However I recommend to prepare for 2 lessons and 2 crafts for the unlikely event that you do see the same kids twice. The same lesson will be repeated at all vbs locations. If you have 2 lessons, your team can decide which lesson they want to do each day.
craft:
You will need to bring down crafts for approx 200-600 kids per day ( teams generally minister to approx. 800 kids during the week- if you prepare 2 lessons you will need 400 crafts for each lesson.)
snack:
Kids will receive a small toy or candy on their way out.
Note: Please check with local dentists to see if they will donate toothbrushes and toothpaste. The kids here love to receive them as gifts. You will also need bags of candy (we can purchase those here in Costa Rica)
It would also be good to bring down children’s tracts in Spanish.
Usually juice and bread/cookies (we will purchase these here)
